The later second part of the assignment will be based on these publications.

Image you are employed as a researcher in a news agency. Your boss asks you to write a science-informed story based on one of the following themes of your own choice.

The first task you get is to select a theme for your story and to find relevant background material for a literature review. Your boss wants to see this literature review first before proceeding with the story.

From you own literature search, select three scientific publications that best underpin your chosen theme. You submission must state your chosen theme, summarize key points of each publication, and provide the full citation details of the publications.

Your submission has a word limit of 1000 words (the references are excluded from the word count). You must provide a word count for your submission.
